Dear Mike and Scott -
It was almost exactly a year ago that we lost our mom. It has been a tough year. You have accompanied us every step of the way as we worked to settle her estate. We are forever grateful for your assistance to us, but even more grateful for the valuable service you provided to Mom. You expertly handled her investments, while guiding her through financial decisions that were rewarding to her and impacted our entire family.
As a result of working with you, she was able to retain her independence much longer
than we could have imagined. She trusted you both, and that did not come easily for her. You were always patient, kind, and respectful to her, and interested in our family. You served her well.
Now that her estate is almost wrapped up, we will not have as many reasons to be in contact - but I hope to remain in touch. On behalf of Mom and our family, we thank you for your excellent work!

Michael,
We feel so blessed that we happened into your meeting at the Sunshine Factory in New Hope in like 1995. Within a year you said we could retire whenever we wanted to. Of course we didn't believe you. We had just saved by using all the fringe benefits our employers had provided.
As it turned out Neil had a health issue that made his retirement a really good idea; I had something happen with my employer that suggested a change would be good for me too. Retirement was highly unlikely in 1998. But we had learned to believe you so we retired. We sold our house to our son and moved to our lake home. All you asked was for a listing of our expenses for a week or two. That's all I remember you ever asking of us.
Obviously you have been our guardian angel. When you asked a question we asked what you'd have us do. That's what we did. We had no experience with investing or even a thought of it. You, as far as we're concerned, have always been with us - for the last 30 years. Once you learned of our needs you put us on the right track. We've never felt a need to make any changes; can't believe we ever will.
You are and will continue to be Our Guardian Angel. Thank you, Michael.
