Susan Anderson’s passion for financial planning comes from her desire to support people in their efforts to reach their financial goals and live the life they want to lead by using and implementing our “Client First” Advice, Guidance, and Direction process. She cares about her client’s financial health, so helping them to understand what they should be doing and how they should be doing it is one of the driving factors - ESPECIALLY for women going through transitions in their lives. Such as widowhood, retirement, and divorce; just to name a few.
Susan has been a part of Michael Matheson’s Team since 2005, the same the year Michael joined Financial Dimensions Group, an existing branch of an independent financial services broker-dealer, Royal Alliance. Working closely with his clients for several years, she saw the positive impact of being a trusted financial advisor can have on clients’ lives and realized that this is also a passion of hers; thus she transitioned to an Associate Financial Advisor! And, more recently, has earned the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation expanding her knowledge of the many types of investments available to us.
Susan lives in Elk River, Minnesota with her husband, Mike (not Michael Matheson!); son, Brady; daughter, Aubree; and coon-hound, Layla! She and her family are very active outside of work enjoying the outdoors as much as possible; whether it’d be at a kids’ sporting event (Baseball, Football, Soccer, or Softball), camping, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, or relaxing at the lake.
